Gucci.com opened its fashion house to the world of online shopping in 2011.
WEBSITE, PRODUCT AND RANGE REVIEW
With an almost complete range of Gucci products, Gucci.com has shown that is possible to have an online shopping experience as luxurious as the stores themselves.
The website has a full catalogue of men’s, women’s and kids’ wear alongside the brand’s growing accessories collection, including monogrammed phone accessories (for your new Ipad, Iphone or Blackberry of course). This is about having the whole ‘Gucci lifestyle’.
The clothing range is broad and shoppers have the ability to shop by either ‘outfit’ view or by a standard category view (e.g. shop all jeans, all t-shirts etc) which will suit us European users better, who are more used to shopping in this way.
The website itself is smooth and sleek although the experience may be a little slow for those who do not have high-spec computers.
Pleasingly, Gucci.com also offers a personalisation service, similar to Ralph Lauren UK, allowing you to monogram a selection of bags and luggage, which is a very nice touch. Monogramming is free, (with up to 3 initials) although expect to pay £1000 plus for the pieces you are able to personalise.
Easy enough and you can save your preferences to make your next checkout a quicker experience.
Gucci.com does not accept PayPal, so if you would like to use PayPal, you may prefer to shop through another MilanStyle partner retailer that sells Gucci menswear and does accept PayPal.
Unfortunately for Japanese shoppers, Gucci.com does not accept the JCB credit card.
£12 for UK orders
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AVAILABLE
At £12 to ship to the UK, British shoppers may be a little bit put off from ordering from Gucci.com, although, we do stress that the items bought are fully insured and that the shipment is Express.
Shipping from Gucci.com are fully trackable and you will be given your tracking number on your order confirmation email.
If you can get the same item from another MilanStyle partner such as MR PORTER, FarFetch.com or Matches Fashion, it may be advisable to purchase through these retailers to save yourself a few £s on postage where you will also receive your item quicker as both are based in the UK.

The Products purchased online cannot be refunded nor returned in the outlet stores.
The delivery cost are not refundable.
All the delivery expenses for the return of the Products shall be borne by the Customer: each and any cost borne by the Customer for the return is not refundable.”
It’s great to see a major luxury brand such as Gucci offering online shopping on a large scale.
If Gucci.com were to introduce a friendlier returns policy and lower their shipping costs, we would rate them 4/5, but otherwise, a great online shopping experience.
You can also shop through these MilanStyle partners for Gucci men’s clothes & accessories.
